DECATUR, Ind. — March 10, 2016 — REV Recreation Group’s Monaco Coach and Holiday Rambler brands are strong ... and growing. The division has announced yet another key hire, adding Robert (Bob) Harjung to the Monaco-Holiday Rambler sales team in an internal sales position. Hajung, although new to the industry, has a good dose of RV salesman genetics in him with his father, Bob Sr., notching decades in the RV business.

“I’m really looking forward to building my career in the RV industry under Matt Buckman, who has brought me into a company where I can pave my own path,” says Harjung, who broke into the business with The RV Factory. Prior to that, Harjung worked as a production manager for Universal Forest Products, a supplier of wood products to multiple industries, including the RV industry.

In his new role, Harjung will help train sales people, work club rallies, assist the marketing department with creative sales initiatives and aid the District Sales Managers in recruiting new dealers.

Harjung’s addition comes on the heels of ongoing expansion news. The REV Recreation Group put the finishing touches on its new REV Regional Technical Center in Alvarado, Texas, and the company finalized the acquisition of land in Mesquite, Nev., for a fourth technical center. REV also added a new 50,000-sq.-ft. Class C manufacturing facility solely for the Holiday Rambler and Fleetwood RV brands.

Harjung admires the detail that is poured into the brands’ products. “It’s really exciting to be a part of a company that offers this kind of quality,” Harjung says. “Nothing compares to what we have going on here.”

Buckman agrees, saying the company continues to see growth, particularly within the Monaco Coach and Holiday Rambler brands, and RVIA reports RV industry shipments will be on the rise, reaching 381,100 units in 2016, a 2% increase from 2015.

“I think Bob’s hire is just a small indication of more good things to come from the Monaco Coach and Holiday Rambler brands,” Buckman says. “Our dealer network is vital to us, and so we’re doing everything in our power, like making internal hires, to make sure we’re growing these partnerships. The recent realignment of our division has already set us on the course for change, and now it’s time for us to grow.”
