On Thursday, May 16th, Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) purchased the assets of Navistar RV. This sale included Monaco, Holiday Rambler, R-Vision and several other brands. ASV is committed to the RV business and has a track record of success with Fleetwood and American Coach. ASV is also the parent company of other successful industry leading companies producing fire and rescue, ambulance, school bus and industrial vehicles.
Monaco and Holiday Rambler will remain distinct product brands as part of ASV, with their own sales, marketing and product development teams. We are dedicated to producing the products you demand from these iconic brands.
As with any change, there are always questions. Listed below are answers to some common questions we've heard over the past week. We're committed to be honest and engaged with our customers and dealers, and we'll provide ongoing updates about company changes and product developments.

Mike Snell, President
1. Who bought Monaco, Holiday Rambler and R-Vision Towables?
ASV purchased the Monaco, Holiday Rambler and R-Vision recreational vehicle businesses from Navistar International Corporation. ASV's acquisition includes the motorized division, towables division, and parts & service operations and includes the brands of Monaco, Holiday Rambler, R-Vision, Beaver, and Safari, among others. Bison Coach was not part of the sale and remains a Navistar Inc. holding.
2. Will the new company still honor my current Monaco, Holiday Rambler or R-Vision warranty?
Yes. ASV purchased the business in its entirety, not merely the product brands, and therefore all contracts and warranties are being honored by ASV. If a customer purchased a Monaco or Holiday Rambler motor home warranted by Navistar RV LLC, the Navistar RV limited warranty will still apply under its same terms and conditions with Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV).
3. Will I still be able to get parts and service for my Monaco or Holiday Rambler?
Absolutely. To ensure a seamless transition and continuous service and support to our dealers and customers, no changes are being made to customer service, parts and service. The same knowledgeable and experienced service techs and customer service personnel are still in place to handle all of your needs.
4. Will the new company still support/endorse the existing Monaco and Holiday Rambler Owners Clubs?
Monaco and Holiday Rambler will continue to stand by our customers. There are no planned changes to the owners clubs or our involvement other than to increase engagement in the future. The experience gained from Fleetwood and American Coach has shown ASV how important clubs are to their brands' successes. In the coming months, you'll hear more about our expanded outreach programs.
5. Is the Wakarusa plant closing? Will people lose their jobs?
Unfortunately, the current operations are losing money at a rapid pace. In order to make these brands viable in the short- and long-term, ASV has been forced to make some very tough decisions. Over the next several months, ASV will be transitioning and consolidating all operations and motorized manufacturing from Wakarusa, IN, to ASV's Decatur, IN campus. However, ASV plans to sell the facility to another RV industry participant and it is likely that production will resume in the facility over time. In addition to sales and marketing, ASV is retaining engineering and product development staff and is offering opportunities to other current employees as well.
6. When will production begin for the next model year Monaco or Holiday Rambler coaches?
The transition of production to ASV's Decatur campus will be a major focus for us in the coming months. We're working hard to move as quickly as possible, while also launching a major effort to design the future Monaco & HR product. We commit to be transparent and share as much information as possible with our dealer partners, customers, employees, and vendors.
There are no planned changes to towables manufacturing at the current Harrisburg, Oregon, or Elkhart, Indiana, facilities.
7. Are there any changes to dealer relationships?
There are no planned changes to dealer relationships. You can find a dealer through the dealer locator on each brand's website.
